My suggestion is that...That is a noble deed indeed. My suggestion is that you always mention scientific latin name of the plants used, as many writers about ethnobotancal foods omit it. And common names, even the english ones are often confusing (same name used for few different plants, etc.), and some are even never heard outside just one location and therefore never recorded in any sources, unabling outsiders to identify the plant. Here in the Philippines it is common that one plant is called differently in every small region, and when you travel it is hard to explain to locals what plant you talk about or looking for.
